We were asked to look at some damage at a site in Lichfield and come up with a solution to prevent it from happening in the future. We had 3 issues to contend with:-

1. The shelters were too short for the vehicles using the loading bays.

2. The cladding overhang prevented standard taller dock shelters from being installed.

3. The vehicles were riding over the top of the dock bumpers & knocking them off.

To solve the issues we provided the following:-

1. Bespoke taller dock dock shelters with cut out and infill section to allow taller dock shelters to be fitted without the need for any building modifications.

2. Fit new longer, above dock bumpers, complete with brackets to one side of the loading bay which prevents the trailers from riding over the top of the bumpers whilst allowing sufficient access for pallet trucks.
