Prevent loading bay damage

Fitting dock bumpers is not a difficult task however if they have been installed in the wrong position then significant damage can be caused to the dock levellers and the building.

The example below shows when bumpers are replaced by a company that doesn't understand how the loading bay is being used:-

1. The bumpers have been installed too far apart allowing trailers to hit dock leveller.

2. The bumpers have been installed too low allowing trailers to ride over the top of the dock.

As a result, the dock needs repairing and the damaged leveller needs replacing. This damage could have been prevented if they had spoken to us first.
